Welcome to LifeSkills of Toledo!  We are here to help you earn your high school diploma.

We're located on the corner of Adams and 20th Streets, served by TARTA.  We also have parking available across the street in the Adams St. parking lot.

More than 300 young people have earned their high school diploma at LifeSkills of Toledo.  Graduates have gone on to attend several colleges and universities including The University of Toledo, Owens Community College, Toledo Academy of Beauty, Lourdes College, and Mercy College.  Other graduates have joined the US Armed Forces.

Our staff and students are active in the community.  Staff and students have participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, and March of Dimes.

About LifeSkills of Toledo:

  • Students attend class five days a week – one session per day.
  • Instruction is primarily computer-based.
  • Qualified teachers act as facilitators to help guide the students' learning.
  • All students have the same graduation requirements as public school students.
  • Once enrolled, students will be assisted in finding a job or an opportunity to provide community service.
  • Every student receives an individual academic and career plan which serves as his/her academic and life skills guide.
  • Tuition is free, just as in a traditional public school.
  • Upon graduation, the student earns an actual state-recognized high school diploma – not a GED – and valuable job experience.
