Welcome to LifeSkills of Miami Dade! We're here to help you earn your high school diploma.
Miami LifeSkills is located two blocks east of the Flagler Dog Park. We are served by Miami Dade Transit Bus #7. You can take public transportation or park inside the school's gated lot. More than 100 students have earned their high school diploma at our LifeSkills, and they've gone on to join the United States Military, obtained employment and enrolled into college or technical school. .
We take pride in our community involvement. Students and staff have given more than 10,000 items to local food and clothing banks helping Kristi House, Haitian Relief Effort, Curley's House of Style Food Bank, and Daily Bread Food Bank. Students and staff also made monetary donations to The Foundation for Children with Cancer. The school received the first ever charter school award for highest percentage of participation by the South Florida Blood Bank.
LifeSkills is a special place to earn your diploma. The staff at LifeSkills of Miami Dade works hard to make connections with our students in an effort to support their goal of earning a high school diploma. This year, our math teacher, Alexandra Jimenez, was voted Staff Member of the Year by our students.
