It's a great opportunity for our students in a difficult job market.
Welcome to LifeSkills of Akron! We're here to help you earn your high school diploma.
LikeSkills of Akron is located near the downtown YMCA and across from Lock 3 at the intersection of Bowery Street and Water Street. You can use public transportation to get to school on Akron Metro route numbers 1, 4, 10, 28 and 34. If you drive, there's parking across the street.
More than 1,200 students have earned their state-recognized high school diploma at Akron LifeSkills, and you could be next.
We do some pretty special work for our community. We routinely hold blood drives at the school for the Red Cross. Staff and students participate in Keep Akron Beautiful. Students also participate in fundraisers such as Pennies for Patients which raises money for children with leukemia.
